NP-ONE makes custom hearing protection for dealers, audiologists and other professional partners. This website (np-one.com) is operated by NP-ONE B.V., Ambachtsweg 3 B, 5531 AC Bladel, the Netherlands, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 86086413. We are the controller for the processing of your personal data described in this policy.

What data we process and why

Contact or support form. Name, phone number, email address, company name and your message, to answer your question. Legal basis: legitimate interest. Kept up to 2 years after our last contact.

Partner application. Name, company name, email address, phone number and your message, to assess your application and contact you. Legal basis: steps prior to entering into a contract. Kept up to 2 years after our last contact, or as long as the partnership lasts.

Partners and customers. Contact and company details, orders and invoices, to perform the partnership and deliver. Legal basis: performance of a contract. Invoices and records are kept for 7 years (legal obligation).

Website visits. IP address and technical data (browser, device), to show and secure the website. Legal basis: legitimate interest. Kept briefly in our hosting provider's logs.

Statistics or marketing cookies. Only with your consent; see Cookies below.

We do not sell your data. We do not use automated decision-making or profiling with legal effects.

Who we share data with

We only share data with parties needed to run the website and our services, and we have agreements with them on security and confidentiality:

• Framer B.V. (Amsterdam): builds and hosts the website and processes form submissions.
• Our email provider: form submissions arrive at info@np-one.com, where we answer them.

Some of these parties may process data outside the European Economic Area, for example in the United States. This only happens with appropriate safeguards, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. We may also disclose data when the law requires us to.

Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, such as an encrypted connection (https) and limited access to data.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your data. You can also object to processing, ask us to restrict it, or receive your data in a common format. If you gave consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

Send your request to info@np-one.com. We respond within one month and may ask you to verify your identity. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Cookies

Cookies are small files a website stores on your device. Similar techniques, such as the browser's local storage, are also called cookies here.

• Necessary: npone_cookie_consent (NP-ONE, local storage) remembers your cookie choice so you don't see the banner again. Kept for 12 months. No consent needed.
• Statistics: measure how visitors use the site. Not currently used.
• Marketing: tailor advertising on other sites to your interests. Not currently used.

Statistics and marketing cookies are only placed with your consent. If we start using them, for example Google Analytics or the Meta Pixel, we will add their names and retention periods here.

Our website loads fonts from Google Fonts and flag images from flagcdn.com, which means those parties receive your IP address. No cookies are set by this.

You choose which cookies to allow in the cookie banner on your first visit. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time with the cookie button at the bottom left of every page, or delete cookies in your browser settings.
